We believe that Small Groups are THE BEST PLACE FOR SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT. When we break it down there are three pillars that form the foundation for our LifeGroups.
1.) Relationships : We believe that relationships are vital in spiritual development. When find our tribe we begin to trust each other. When we trust each other, it is easier to speak life and encouragement into each other.
2.) Discipleship : Discipleship is teaching and training another person to become a committed follower of Jesus Christ. This is much easier to do in the small group setting because there is more time to talk through and focus on certain things that may come up in our everyday lives. Our LifeGroup leaders go through training to learn how to teach and lead their group members into a deeper relationship with Jesus.
3.) Outreach: We like to call our Small Group meetings an "easy on-ramp" for people to connect with God and other people to walk through life with. We try to be intentional about going into our community and meeting them where THEY ARE AT versus only trying to bring them into our church building. We have found that people who are unchurched are more likely go to a BBQ at someone's house if invited than an invitation to church. Our goal is that every person in a Small Group would invite an unchurched friend to the LifeGroup meeting opening a door for discipleship and a relationship with God while also giving you a better opportunity to invite them to church.
