Powerful Families: Rooted in Jesus. Pursuing Connection
Our mission is to build powerful families: rooted in Jesus, pursuing connection, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We believe powerful families partner with God’s Spirit to cultivate personal responsibility, intimacy, and lasting partnership in every home.
Grace is a church of small groups - including ones with a heart and focus on marriage and family! We believe successful families are built in community! Find marriage and family-focused small groups at our online Small Groups Directory. Under "Group Attributes" select "Marriage/Parenting"
Our Premarital Mentorship program helps couples prepare for a strong, healthy, Christ-centered marriage. Required for anyone planning to be married at Grace or by a Grace pastor, the program provides insight into areas of strength as well as potential conflict and encourages couples to grow together before marriage. We believe in being marriage builders, so couples are asked thoughtful, sometimes challenging questions and are expected to come ready to engage and grow. This is not a “box to check”—it’s a journey toward a resilient, lasting partnership.
For questions about facilities reservations please contact Amy Chism at achism@gracemontrose.org.
Our Marriage Mentor Program helps couples strengthen their relationship by combining practical, biblically based tools with personalized guidance. Couples assess the strengths and growth areas of their relationship and meet weekly for 10 weeks with an experienced mentor couple. Each session provides practical strategies, grounded in Scripture, to help you cultivate intimacy, partnership, and a healthy, lasting marriage.
This program is free, led by volunteer mentors who are passionate about helping couples grow.
Please note: This program is not a substitute for counseling. Our mentors are not trained to address issues related to addiction, abuse, or infidelity. Couples needing professional help in these areas will be referred to licensed counselors.
For those seeking su from a licensed therapist, please reach out to Sara Mitchell at smitchell@gracemontrose.org to be connected with a counselor in our referral network.
